Duties of Officers
President:
The president is to conduct all meetings and shall also have the power to appoint committees for such purposes as are needed to carry out the objectives and purposes of this Organization. The President shall also fill vacancies on the Board of Directors.
First Vice President:
The duty of the First Vice President is to take the chair in the event the President is absent and to be responsible for the organization of one half of the organizations ski weekends.
Second Vice President:
The duty of the Second Vice President is to take the chair in the event the President and
First Vice President is absent and to be responsible for the organization of one half of the Organizations weekend Ski trips.
Secretary:
The duty of the Secretary is to keep minutes of all meetings and shall be custodian of all records of the Organization.
Treasurer:
The duty of the Treasurer is to be the custodian of the Organizations funds, to be in charge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and banking.
Financial Secretary:
The duty of the Financial Secretary is to receive records of monies collected to be recorded in the ledger and to pass on information required by the treasurer to compose the treasurers report.
***Each officer, upon retiring from office, shall deliver to his or her successor all records, books, papers, or other property belonging to the club.***
Duties of Directors:
The duty of each Director is to help guide the Organization in accordance with the Constitution and By-laws that are currently in effect.
Activities Director:
The duty of the Activities Director is to help coordinate all events. Information forms shall be sent to each event person so accountability will be documented on who came to the event, the expenses incurred etc.
Public Publicity:
The duty of the Publicity person is to promote events of the organization to the newspaper and businesses alike.
