Attention: Disbanding of this club!!

Due to the club not having enough people to step forward and become a board member of some sort the Snowdrifters has disbanded. Social events can still be seen on this web site but it is up to you to send me .. John Mureiko .. yohonusa@yahoo.com the information you want added to this site. You must include your name, phone number and email address so people can contact you in reference to your event. Your event will be your total responsiblitiy!

Skiers wishing to still ski can join the Schussmeisters Ski and Snowboard Club out of Flint, MI.

NOTE: The Schussmeisters 2010 Western trip will be going on sale by the end of May 2009. Your membership is included in the trip cost so you may want to wait until then before joining.

Remember .. once your a member of the Schussmeisters Ski and Snowboard club you have a membership with the MDSC and all of the ski clubs in Michigan for going on their ski trips.

7TH ANNUAL HIGGIN'S LAKE (ISLAND PARTY)


Saturday, August 1st The fun begins at 10AM

First stop: Bob Sugden's house 221 Magnolia

Camping is available this year on Treasure Island Yes-yes

Boating, water skiing, swimming sailing and other water activities

Hamburg's, brats, hotdogs, soft drinks and table service will be provided.

Bring a dish to pass, lawn chair, cooler, and your liquid refreshments.


The cost is a donation of $6.00. We hope everyone can come and have a great time!!!!!


From the South, take U.S. 10 to US 27 North. Take 1st Higgin's Lake exit (1st exit past M-55). Right turn on County Road 104 ( Go across Old US Highway 27). Go 1 1/2 miles and turn left on County Road 202. Go 1 3/4 miles to the stop sign and turn right on County Rd. 200. Go 1.0 mile to Algon and turn left (at Point Comfort Marina). Go one block on Algon and turn left to Magnolia (no street sign). Go one short block to Bob's or go down to the lake.


This year the party will be able to be held on the island. I have running water and a bathroom. We will have festivities there this year.

At the Home of Karolyn Bisson, 6256 Paddock Ln. Saginaw

Turn North off Weiss onto Darwin (between Wieneke and Midland Rd ) and then left on Paddock.

Cost is $3.00 plus a dish to pass. I will provide the meat and table settings.

Hope to see all of you there. Don't forget your bathing suits, pool toys and Sunscreen.
